How to Measure an Existing Ring

Use this method if you already own a ring that fits well.

1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
2. Place the ring on a flat surface.
3. Measure the inside diameter of the ring (straight across the center).
4. Measure in millimeters (mm).
5. Match your measurement with the size in the chart below.

Important: Measure only the inside of the ring, not the outer edges.

How to Measure Your Finger

Use this method if you don’t already own a ring that fits.

1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (where the ring will sit).
3. Make sure it’s tight but comfortable; not too loose.
4. Mark the point where the paper or string overlaps.
5. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters (mm).
6. Use the chart below to find your ring size.

Tip: Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold.
